Dear Parents & Students,
We had an amazing year and I wanted to take the time to say thank you to my students for working hard and persevering during hard times and to wish everyone a happy and safe summer.
I want to send out a special thank you to all the parents who participate on our field trips and provided the additional support that we needed in order to organize our students during our trips to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the United Nations, EverFi STEM Leadership Awards, the Solar Impulse Event, & our final trip to the Queens Museum to attend the UN graduation ceremony of our NYC Junior Ambassadors. Thank you to every parents who ensured that our students arrived to school on time, completed their work, attended student lead conferences, our PTA meetings as well as continuously encouraged their child to do their best.
It was my pleasure to teach this years 7th graders and I can’t wait to see all of my students again in September, especially as I move up with them and become their 8th grade science teacher!
For my final post as the 7th grade science teacher I am including a few tweets that showcased our hard work during the end of the year. See you in September, Enjoy your summer and don’t forget to complete your science packet !
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jennings
